Privacy Policy Summary

You can read every page on this site without creating an account or giving us your name or email. We collect limited, first-party usage data to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell personal information.

Information We Collect

First-Party Visitor Analytics

Each page loads a small first-party analytics script from Persilio, our analytics provider. When a page loads, it records:

  • the page address and the site you came from, if it was another site;
  • campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign);
  • screen size, browser language, and time zone;
  • clicks on links that leave this site, and clicks into embedded listing widgets.

The script stores a random visitor ID in your browser's local storage and a session ID in session storage that expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. It does not set cookies, read form fields, or run for automated browsers. As with any web request, the analytics server receives your IP address.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is not currently enabled on this site. If we enable it, it will set cookies under Google's privacy policy, and we will update this section.

Hosting and Server Logs

The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver pages and block abuse. Fonts are hosted on our own domain, so reading a page does not send a request to a font service.

Some pages may show sponsored school listings, which are labeled. If you request information through a listing or follow a link to a school, the school or listing provider collects what you submit under its own privacy policy, not this one.

How We Use Information

We use analytics to see which pages people read, fix broken pages, and decide what to improve. We do not use it to identify you by name, and we do not sell or rent it.

Your Choices

You can clear this site's local storage at any time in your browser settings, which resets the visitor ID. Blocking scripts from third-party domains also stops the analytics script from loading. The site works fully either way.

Children

This site is written for adults and older students researching training. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
