Program Overview

This program fits students who want a diploma-length, 18-month path to combined airframe and powerplant ratings, with labs covering sheet metal, hydraulics, and turbine engine work.

Sheet metal work, hydraulics and pneumatics, navigation and communication systems, turbine engine theory, and powerplant lubrication all show up in the hands-on labs of UTI Houston's 18-month Airframe & Powerplant Technician diploma.
